You know you are a dog trainer when…

Text-free Thursday?  Cinco-de-May siesta?

After a bit of a crazy evening with classes and three dogs who haven’t had their typical amount of exercise for four weeks due to near 20 consecutive days of rain, I am not feeling the whole writing a blog thing.  I’m tried, muddy, and cold from running the dogs outside tonight; since when I got home from classes at 9:40pm, it was not raining and the dogs clearly needed to run after days of being cooped up with minimal running.

After running the dogs, I went to get some peanut butter to go with an apple for dinner and I realized that… I should really buy stock in peanut butter.

You KNOW you are a dog trainer when you have 2 or more jars of peanut butter in your kitchen and that two of the three jars of peanut butter in your cabinets are labeled, “DOG!!!” or “Dogs! Not for humans!!”  (I would also point out that 2 out of the 3 jars are Costco-sized monster jars).

  1. Oh, Tena! You should warn us when you’re going to do this – so that we don’t take a sip of coffee just before we scroll down to see the picture. Coffee is bad for computers.

Glad it stopped raining so the dogs could run.

Did you use the dog’s Peanut Butter? I think every dog owner at one point has cracked and eaten “dog” food at some point in their life, lol. If it’s good enough for my dog, then it’s good enough for me!
